We are looking for an individual who has experience in food  service or barista service, and enjoys customer service and has  experience in that field in a variety of mediums, including in-person,  over the phone, and through email, to fill our open part time to  full-time Customer Care Coordinator position.  Qualified applicants will be over 18, and must be available a minimum of 25 hours (and up to 40) Tuesday – Sunday (Mornings & Afternoons)

Responsibilities

• Responding to customer phone calls and emails
• Responding to customer questions and concerns in-person in our shop
• Acting as a liaison between Customers, Front of House Staff, and the Head Baker to take orders and respond to customer needs. 
• Overseeing Front of House Operations during open hours and filling in when necessary to working with customers and make drinks.
• Inventory of Front of House supplies and finished product needs

Qualifications

• Some experience (minimum 1 year) in food service, bonus if at least 6 months of that was as a barista. 
• Experience with basic computer skills  (typing, written communication) and programs (Outlook, Excel) 
• Experience with answering phone calls and good oral communication skills. 
• Availability Thursday through Sundays year round; mornings and  afternoons, as well as some time on Tuesdays or Wednesdays to prepare  for the week.

We are looking to hire one part-time to full-time Baker/Pastry Chef to assist our Head Baker in the daily bake and item prep.  Must have availability Weds - Sunday.  Very early mornings, but no night shifts and no Mondays. This is a very busy, small shop and candidates are expected to have a sense of urgency and the ability to handle a variety of tasks.  Qualified applicants will be over 18, and must be available a minimum of 25 hours (and up to 40) Tuesday – Sunday (Morning & Afternoons). 

We will train on our techniques and specific recipes, but prior experience baking in a commercial kitchen is REQUIRED, preferably in one or more of the following areas: yeasted items, laminated doughs, pies, custards, cheesecakes, scones and macarons. Some light decorating skills would also be advantageous. A passion for from-scratch baking is ideal, as is general versatility and openness to learning about new products and techniques. ServSafe Food Safety Certifications are a plus! For those without prior experience looking to get their foot in the door, please see our Kitchen Assistant position, when available.
