We are looking for a friendly, motivated individual to fill our open Customer Service / Barista position. Qualified applicants will be over 18, and must be available a minimum of 2 shifts (8-9 hours/shift), Wednesday – Sunday (Morning & Afternoons). Availability on at least one weekend day per week is required (that's our busy time!). Experience is not necessary but a desire to learn and assist our customers is required.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers, assisting them in their purchases, using our POS system (Clover), handling cash, answering the phone and taking orders.
• Learning our menu - items available, ingredients, and general info about our processes to be able to best help our customers.
• Keeping cases stocked and coordinating with Back of House to do so.
• Making Sandwiches and heating soup and gravy
• Following recipes to make syrups, drinks  and other drink components
• Assist rest of staff with shop daily cleaning, stocking & inventory

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18
• Availability for a minimum of 2 shifts (8-9 hours each) per week during our working hours (Wednesday - Sunday, 8am-5pm), including one weekend day.
• Friendly, positive attitude, care for customers and coworkers
• Ability to work with urgency when needed and communicate clearly with a team
• Care for our products and a desire to learn about them
• No prior experience is required, but some bakery/cafe experience is highly preferred  (Wage is commensurate with experience).

Qualified applicants will be over 18, and must be available a minimum of 20 hours (and up to 40) between Tuesday – Sunday (Morning & Afternoons), and will have worked in a commercial kitchen before. Availability on at least one weekend day per week is required (that's our busy time!).

• Food prep as needed for current menu: zesting/juicing citrus, shredding cheese, chopping & roasting produce
• Making basic recipes including doughs, fillings, frostings, gravy, chicken salad & egg salad
• Making Sandwiches and assisting FOH as expediter when needed
• Assist rest of staff with daily shop cleaning, stocking & inventory

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18
• Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week during our working hours (Tuesday - Sunday, mornings & afternoons) - at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) required each week - those are our busiest days.
• Able to start the work day at 6am or earlier as required.

Starts at $19/hour+ tips, commensurate with experience

We are looking for a full-time experienced Baker/Pastry Chef to lead our morning bake and execute some of our more difficult pastries, including croissants and macarons.

Must be available 30+ hours/week: early mornings (5am), most weekdays and at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). No nights. 

Experience baking in a commercial kitchen is REQUIRED to be considered. We will train on our techniques and recipes, but we are looking for applicants with a year or more of prior experience in commercial from-scratch baking, following specific recipes and methods in yeasted doughs, cakes, custards, pies, laminated pastries and other confections (macarons, pate a choux, etc). Though prior commercial experience is required, we are excited to invest in the right candidate who has a general versatility, baking knowledge and willingness to learn. A pastry degree would be beneficial but is not a requirement.
